Default hmmm ..

eBay is really about value! .. people are looking for a bargain .. sellers, like me, are trying to get rid of those lousy birthday and christmas presents! .. as well as any other impulsive buys, which lead to any form of buyer's remorse! ..

as for stock photography and music .. I think those sort of things would be better handled/marketed by a business .. such as corbis, etc. ..

paintings, posters and stuff .. how do you put a value on them? .. the value is, naturally, the highest amount someone is willing to pay ..

you have to be careful, with eBay .. there are several different auctions .. there are classifieds (which run for 30 days, with "final value fee") .. there's this one particular method where you specify how much you want for something you're selling, and you let the buyers send in bids .. and, at he end of the day, it's upto you to select from the bids .. just don't click "accept any bid over X amount" .. I made that mistake .. because if someone bids over that amount, they automatically buy it .. it doesn't wait for your consideration of the offer ..

but all in all .. I feel safe with eBay .. some really great bargains .. I bought a spare charger for my MacBook Pro .. at the Apple shop it's like a 99 dollars or something .. I got mine (brand new, btw!) from some company in China .. for 30 dollars! .. I'm assuming it's the same manufacturers who manufacture these items for Apple .. or someone who has access to them ..

there are a lot of fakes out there, too .. so be sure to check a seller's reputation .. and if it's too good to be true, it probably is .. I saw an Hermes Birkin for like 1000 USD .. most certainly, a fake! ..
