Does the free shipping listings affect the way you buy on ebay? It seems that the people that offer free shipping raise the prices on their buy-it-now listings so that it doesn't become a good deal at all.

As people come here for the purpose of making business, thats understandable! For the so-called free shipping ads that they use, it is most likely that their shipping fees are add-ons upon the original purchase/selling price. Just be wary before you jump into...Compare fist!

Yes, we've doing most of our listings with Free Shipping now because ebay was offering a discount for power sellers if you offered Free Shipping ... so, we just anticipate the cost of shipping, and add it into our price ... not enough margin to do it any other way.

Its a marketing strategy...sometimes we have to do that just to attract prospect buyers. We have to anticipate everything as far as the satisfaction and convenience of our customer is concern...It gives high possibilities of buying every time the customer see the advantage to him/her...
