Hi guys,

I have been using Paypal as my payment gateway however I am considering getting a direct merchant account. Does anyone know if this is difficult?

I think you can use Google checkout. It is a very good reliable payment gateway which is very much suitable for merchants and are more reliable and less vulnerable to hacking. Most of the merchants are using Google checkouts.

It's not that difficult, you typically just have to fill out the application and provide some financials.
