Well, of course on the internet
I think there are many job opportunities offered on the internet. If you are looking for freelance jobs, you can try elance and odesk. They seems to be good job marketplace. Many online jobs in various subjects like data entry, web designing and developing and content creation are posted there regularly.

If you wrote articles, you could post them and receive some ad money at sites like Triond. You'd have to have a lot of hits to your content to be making serious money, but if you already have the content, maybe you could also market it elsewhere.

Constant Content is another site that markets written articles.

Best of luck in your endeavors.

Filling out surveys is a way to make extra money. Some pay cash. Some give you points to trade for merchandise. Never pay a company for a list of the sites. You can google them yourself. Zoom, Lightspeed, Global Test Market, Greenfield are good ones to start with. You won't get rich, but it's interesting.

There are a wide array of jobs like design, HTML, SEO writing and website building that you can find on the Internet, but the jobs you can find quite depend on what skills you are good at.

A couple years ago, I looked into that but didn't have good results.

Would you say that it's comparable to article writing at the low end of the scale, as far as payment goes?

You "screen" out of more than you qualify for. I average about $40-50 a month. It's not much, but I really don't do it for the money. I get to see unreleased movie trailers, rate new products before they hit the market, and choose new menu items for restaurants. You would be surprised at some of the outrageous new products that some companies test market.
