Default Social Shopping Networks

I found a site call FuzzB. that is a blend of YouTube, NING, and Ebay. You can create commercials for your featured products, you can auction off items, and there are alreacy a few groups where you can hang out and connect with friends. If you look at the site, you can tell it is female oriented.

While Ebay has sucked up most of the auction market, FuzzB's approach seems to use niche marketing in its layouts, colors, and general atmosphere.

Do you think Social Shopping Networks might replace sites like Ebay during the next 5 years?

Diana, wow that's interesting - I'm going to check that out .. it's very possible. People are beginning to want niche - and something more personal, I believe.

I think it's tough to predict. I'd say plenty of people use Facebook as a marketing tool, and it almost rocked its world recently over who owns the content that's uploaded, or something like that. Sorry, I didn't follow that story closely.

I know someone who's marketing Reggae music, and he has a very definite strategy to go along with the thousands of "friends" he has on MySpace.

Thank you for your info. I am going to have a look

I think niche market will surely a trend in the future. Many people are complaining about Ebay of its listing fee or things like that(I am not sure about the detail, because I am not on Ebay frequently) It needs changing.

Personally, I like niche selling channels than general channels like Ebay.

I just go to FuzzB's website and have a look. I would say I love the layout and its general image. But I would like to raise a question. When I clicked "sell" for more information, it said there is no listing charge and final charge, which is unlike other selling sites. But I noticed at the bottom of the page, it said a one-year subscription fee will be charged. I tried to find out how much the fee is, but in vain. Did anyone ever have a look at the fee?
