Default Adwords for Adsense

Suppose you are running a website which relies on Adsense ads only for its main income. Do you think it will be profitable to advertise the website using Adwords program?

Doubtful ... your revenue you'd earn by clicking on the AdSense ads will be far less than what you PPC ... people do this all the time, but they have something there to generate more income - usually, e-books, or products through an affiliate program like clickbank, etc.

Technically you can advice since there is no mentioning of such thing in Adsense user agreement. However some of my friends sites where banned because of this and while some other site which uses the same technique are not being banned. There is still a lot of confusion regarding this.

My first impression was that you couldn't have both Adwords and Adsense on the same page, at least according to Adsense. But I haven't read and digested their entire terms of service info.

Adwords can radically improve your traffic. Of course this time, you are paying for it. It may be costly for a campaign but worth trying as google is the most popular search engine to date.

I have read about such experience and I have even found the program for the beginners proposed such things. But I am not sure that it is so profitable as assumed.

I'm sorry, I think I may have misunderstood. I'm familiar with Adsense, and in my above post I thought that Adwords was a competitor to the Google company.

But now I think you're referring to "buying" words to get better placement in word searches... Is that right?

Well, Adwords and Adsense are two sides of a coin. If you want to advertise your website on Google, you will do it through Adwords program. Google then delivers those ads to publishers' website that participate in Adsense program.

Nope, nothing is in perpetual motion in terms of the same advertiser.
