Do you think internet users nowadays are still chatting using MIrc?
It has been a long time since I stopped chatting, though in the first months I knew internet, it's my favorite online activity besides emailing. Now we have many options of interacting with other users: email of course, forums, blogs, social networking, many others. Do you think some people are still using MIrc?

Hey st hart, I don't think I've heard of MIrc. Is it associated with a particular country?

Back in the 90s when I first went online, I used ICQ quite a bit and went to a few chat rooms.

Now I use Facebook and email to keep in touch with friends and for business contacts.

There are many available softwares nowadays for chatting, sending messages, calls and etc. It seems that mIRC users are slowing down because there are better softwares for communication nowadays. I've heard about using Nimbuzz, YMtiny, mig33 and a many more. Chatters of the new generation are smart enough in choosing the best softwares to download.
