How many of you use PHP programming for designing web pages. I had been using PHP programs for generating my web pages and I have been much satisfied with it as previously I was using HTML. Have you used PHP scripts before, what is your experience with it.

Welcome to the forums - I don't "write" PHP code, but most of the shopping carts and plugins I use are all in the .php format - pretty standard. What I love about .php is the ability to have includes - like a header, footer, sidebar, etc,. that are constant throughout a site.

I don't either design my own website. Instead, I use CMS. And to work properly, I think a CMS mainly depends on PHP scripts. I notice all the files on my website is in PHP format.
